Bind It Pocket File Folder Album

I wanted to make something for my daughter Kelsey, so I put together this album so she would have something to put her special things in. I made this from manila file folders. The flowers were from the Cricut cartridge "Plantin Schoolbook". And of course I used my new Bind It All. (I got that for my birthday from my husband Ü)

Ty's cute little smile

Tyler is growing so fast. He changes every week. He is cooing and smiling now. He has been having a few problems with his blood pressure being to high and his saturation level being to low. this is partly due to the fact that he is growing out of his artificial artery. But he seems to be a happy little guy who gets lots of attention from his siblings.

Ranger Inks

I finally bought some more Ranger Ink pads. I used three different colors with this card by just rubbing the pad on the card. I took some blending solution and blended the colors together.

The stamps are Tim Holtz stamp set, love them! They are probably the best clear stamps I've used yet! I added a little tiny pearl at the end of the phrase.

This is a 3-Dimensional card I made with some new stamps I bought. They are SU. I used the thick zots adhesive to raise the flower and the leaves.

Mothers Day Card

My daughter Jamie gave me the Crop A Dial Corner Chomper, not realizing that Jim bought me one as well! I just had to laugh when I received hers in the mail! All my daughters are so special. I am a lucky mom to have three daughters and two great talented sons!
I feel so blessed to be a mother!

New Layout-April and Me

I was playing around with my Cricut and found this really pretty border. The blue was a little loud for me so I took my Ranger ink pad and swiped it around on the border. That toned it down a bit. I added some pretty little pearls on the flowers that are on the border. You can click on it for a larger view.

A Visit to the L.A. Zoo

April and the kids came down for a week. We decided to take the kids to the Zoo. It was the perfect weather for a day at the Zoo. Ezekiel loves giraffes so he got to see them up close! We had a great time being together with the family!

Tyler's Update

It's been awhile since I gave an update on Tyler. Yesterday he saw his Cardiologist. He had an echo done. It showed that his vessel is still leaking. Not what they want. He is starting to out grow his artificial artery, so that means he will have his second surgery in July. They knew this would happen. He outgrew it just a little early. He did gain some weight, he is a little over ten pounds. That's a good step in the right direction. He is still on oxygen, but lost the feeding tube! He is overall doing pretty good. He has had some ups and downs, but I hope we are on the up swing. He just needs to stay well and not get sick from his siblings who have coughs. This could be life threatening for him. Try to keep 4 other kids away from a baby. Not an easy task for Jamie.

Jamie is having some challenges herself. She will have to have surgery due to a strange problem with her femur bone. It seems it has deteriorated where the femur and the hip meet, she will have to have some bone graphs done. Just what she needs. To have surgery and trying to take care of a very sick baby who is going to have open heart surgery. I tell you, this sure wasn't in the plans. She has to be very careful not to turn or move the wrong way or she could shatter her bone. This family needs lots of prayers. Thank goodness she has some wonderful neighbors who look after them.
