Finally Back to Scrapping

Now that I got all my craft stuff set up after the move, I can finally start posting my craft things.
You all know who this is if you have been reading my blog. I had to make a layout of Tyler just because he is so cute and sweet! This was when he was about two months old.

New Layout-April and Me

I was playing around with my Cricut and found this really pretty border. The blue was a little loud for me so I took my Ranger ink pad and swiped it around on the border. That toned it down a bit. I added some pretty little pearls on the flowers that are on the border. You can click on it for a larger view.

Cricut Flowers

Here is a layout that I worked on last night. I was scrapping with my daughter April. One of my favorite things to do, scrapping with my daughters!I made the flowers on this page with my Cricut. I made the curls by lightly misting the paper with water then curling the petals with a toothpick. I did the same for the border, I just cut slits down the length of the paper. The cute little peeps in the picture are my grand kids Kylie and Steven. The photo was taken by my husband.

Circle Journal

I am part of a group of ladies that craft together and we started a Circle Journal. Here is a page I did in one of the journals. This journal is about favorite Quotes. There are 6 of us who are trading journals. Everyone pretty much has a 6x6 album. In our group we are also making a recipe album. I'll share that when I get that started. Ü

Mia and Me

My daughter April and her husband Chris, and their two children Ezekiel and Mia, come down from Utah to visit with us for awhile. We had the best time with them all. The best part was to wake up in the morning and see two sweet little faces smiling at you. We went to Travel Town and this is one of the pictures I did for my scrapbook.

Canada Layout

I just love this paper that I bought at a scrapbook convention. It was perfect for my husbands trip that he went on with his brother and sisters. This was the Canada side of Niagara Falls.
I stamped the lines with the journal stamp from Stampin Up.

Cricut Layout

Here is a layout that I made using my Cricut. I just need to add the pictures of course. One of the squares will be used for Journaling.
Here is what I used:
******************
Tear Drop Cartridge
Butterflies- Size 2" and 1 1/2" tall
Squares 4 1/2", 5" tall, 5 1/2"
***********************************
Stamped Cartridge
Flower 3 1/2"
I used Bazzill Paper, I inked all the edges except the flowers. I used small brads and large brads on the squares and the flowers have buttons on them which I thread brown ribbon through.
I out lined the Butterflies with a fine permanent ink marker.

Family Tree Layout

I got together with some friends this week (New ones and old ones) and we all made a Family Tree layout with the Cricut. I am not sure which cartridge was used for the tree but the leaves were from Walk in My Garden Cartridge. I inked the edges of the smallest leaves and I added some of those dew drops. I used the Tear Drop cartridge for the vinyl letters. This was a very fun project. I still have to add the family names on the leaves.

My Daughters

This is a layout I did when I was on the DT for our LSS. It was always a challenge because they gave me kits I would normally not pick. But It was also a lot of fun and I enjoyed the challenge. The Store closed last year and I miss all the fun. We only have the chain stores here were I live. It's just not the same.

How about a Summer layout to warm you up during the winter?
I hid the journaling under the photo on the right. You can't see it but it has a tab to open it.

Hey Look Here

Do you have some bad pictures? Sometimes you can make a fun layout using even the bad ones. For example, I love this picture. Even if it has my head cut off. It is a great memory of trying to get all my grand kids to smile and stay in one spot. I was holding onto Steven (the one in the front) by his shirt and he wanted me to let go and let him loose. So even bad shots can work on your layout and make a great memory!
