Poor choices led to preventable problems for one teen. There’s a way out.

I was playing around with my Cricut and found this really pretty border. The blue was a little loud for me so I took my Ranger ink pad and swiped it around on the border. That toned it down a bit. I added some pretty little pearls on the flowers that are on the border. You can click on it for a larger view.

My daughter April and her husband Chris, and their two children Ezekiel and Mia, come down from Utah to visit with us for awhile. We had the best time with them all. The best part was to wake up in the morning and see two sweet little faces smiling at you. We went to Travel Town and this is one of the pictures I did for my scrapbook.
Here is my Cricut Layout. All the squares, butterflies, flowers and letters were made from my cricut. I have all the instructions on the last post. I just wanted to post the finished layout. The pictures are of my grandkids and my daughter April. This was our last visit in July 2008
Here is a layout that I made using my Cricut. I just need to add the pictures of course. One of the squares will be used for Journaling.
This is the last of the Niagara Falls for now. I will be working on some more layouts this
Here is another layout that I did for my husbands scrapbook. Again pictured is his sisters and brother. This is at Niagara Falls.
Right now I am working on a scrapbook for my husband. Jim went on a trip with his two sisters and brother to Philadelphia. They also went to New York, Washington DC and Canada. Pictured In this layout is his two sisters Ruth and Carol and brother Bill. The journaling is blank because my husband will fill in all the info about his trip.
I got together with some friends this week (New ones and old ones) and we all made a Family Tree layout with the Cricut. I am not sure which cartridge was used for the tree but the leaves were from Walk in My Garden Cartridge. I inked the edges of the smallest leaves and I added some of those dew drops. I used the Tear Drop cartridge for the vinyl letters. This was a very fun project. I still have to add the family names on the leaves.
I just had to share this page my daughter April made. She did a beautiful page layout about her sweet daughter Mia. I guess you could say I am a proud mama!
This is a layout I did when I was on the DT for our LSS. It was always a challenge because they gave me kits I would normally not pick. But It was also a lot of fun and I enjoyed the challenge. The Store closed last year and I miss all the fun. We only have the chain stores here were I live. It's just not the same.
This is a simple layout you can do in no time. The flowers are from a punch with brads attached. Journal type was from the computer. So easy to do Ü
Do you have some bad pictures? Sometimes you can make a fun layout using even the bad ones. For example, I love this picture. Even if it has my head cut off. It is a great memory of trying to get all my grand kids to smile and stay in one spot. I was holding onto Steven (the one in the front) by his shirt and he wanted me to let go and let him loose. So even bad shots can work on your layout and make a great memory!
