Gifts From My Daughter

For Christmas my daughter April made me a purse and a makeup bag. I LOVE handmade gifts! April JUST started sewing and I can't believe what she can just whip up. I just loved her gifts that she gave me for Christmas. I saw these cute aprons that someone had for sale on their blog, April is now going to make me one. She is such a creative girl!!!

Unpacking

Well, I am almost done unpacking my house. We have been in our house for almost 3 weeks now. The only thing left to unpack is my craft room. I am very excited to have a craft room again, so hopefully I can start posting crafty things real soon.
We had a great Christmas with our family. Marshall and Sarai and the kids were down. Jamie And Jon and the kids came down after Christmas for a week. I just love it when my family comes to visit. April and Chris and the kids are going to try and come in February. That is something to look forward to!
I am so glad 2009 is over, it has been a tough year. I look forward to 2010, especially now that we are in OUR home.

Wishing for a Miracle

Can I wish for a Miracle? My heart aches for my grandson Tyler. You never want your children to go through pain and suffering. We as mothers do all we can to protect our children from suffering. But sometimes it's just out of our control and in the hands of our Heavenly Father. I don't want to see my daughter Jamie go through the trials of a sick child, but that is when we have to let Heavenly Father control this situation. But, that does not mean the pain is not there.
Sometimes in the dark moments of life we ask "Why does this have to happen to such a precious little baby"....
We can never see the whole scope of life, only our father in Heaven knows ALL. We all know that trials are for us to grow and learn, but getting through them is such a hard task at hand!
Tyler seems so perfect on the outside, he is now army crawling. Poor little guy will scoot, rest, scoot, rest. It just tuckers his little heart out. Since he started being more active he had to go back on oxygen. His third surgery is not for another year, but we fear it might be sooner.
So...I will not wish for a miracle, but I will pray for one, and then I will have the faith that Heavenly Father will bless us with what he KNOWS will be best for Tyler.

Family Reunion

I had a wonderful time with my children last weekend. Marshall, Jamie and April all came down from Utah to help us move. We all went out to dinner together and had a great time. It has been awhile since we were all together at once. It was a memorable evening.

Today is the day

Today is the day, we are moving into our new home! I am so grateful. My 3 kids Marshall, Jamie and April drove all night last night from Utah to come and help us move. What a wonderful Family I have.

Wish us luck, it's been raining all night and the clouds are just hovering over us.

Eleven From Heaven

I just had to post a picture of my Nephew's family. Chuck and Christine have eleven Children ages13 and under. It's not everyday that you see such a large family, unless you watch them on a reality show. This family is the sweetest family.

The wait is driving me crazy

We are waiting for the final papers from the lender so we can get the keys to our house. The Thanksgiving holiday has pushed this back a few days. I am not very good at waiting. I hear the phone ring and I hope it's the lender, but no word yet. It's hard to plan things when you don't know when you are actually moving.
Let's hope we hear tomorrow!!!

In the mean time we are just packing what we don't need.

Happy Thanksgiving

I feel very blessed to have a wonderful family who loves me.
I am grateful to live in this country, even though this country is going through some tough changes, I still feel thankful to be living in this great country. We still have our freedom. We are able to live our lives as we choose, meaning to choose our own faith, our own political views and how we want to raise our family.
I love this country and I am thankful to my grandparents for choosing to come here for a better life.
