I just love this picture of my daughter and her son Ezekiel. They had a long winter and I am sure they were so happy to be outside playing.

Kaylin's Birthday Card

I made this card for my granddaughter Kaylin's birthday. The flower stamp is from Inkadinkado Clear stamps. The flower on the brown cardstock was inked with a versamark pad and the pink flower I used a stampin Up craft ink spot Regal Rose for the pink flower and then I cut out two flowers and used a big brad to attach to the card. I also used diamond glaze for the little raised spots on the flowers.

Birthday Clipboard

This Birthday Clipboard is from a class that I taught. This is a fun project to make. It is also a great way to remember all those birthdays you don't want to forget! I had to use stickers for this example, but I would prefer to use stamps. I used the SU Journal stamp for the lines on the cards. I added ribbon with fancy paper clips and I attached those with a brad. The 3 pockets are folded 12 x 8 cardstock which are layered on top of each other and wrapped around to the back of the clipboard. Before you wrap and layer add the torn paper to the tops of the pockets. I think I inked almost everything. I used Sizzlets for the Birthday lettering.

Ribbon Organizer

This is a very inexpensive way to store your ribbons. Also it's a handy way to have them out where you can see them at a glance. I got this idea from another company. They wanted their plastic tab holder for $24 and I thought there has to be a way to do this that does not cost that much. I found these embroider tab holders at Michael's for $1.25 you get about 25, I think. and the rings are from Wal-mart for about $2.00. Way cheap! I put extra holes in the tabs so I can thread the ribbon through. This will help so the ribbon does not slip out easy. Works great.

Birdie Card

This cute little birdie stamp is from Autumn Leaves clear stamp. I used colored pencils for the bird. The buttons I used very thin strips of pattern paper for the holes in the buttons.

Guess where I am going

Yep....Disneyland and California Adventure. (This layout was a few years ago) My daughter Jamie and her family are coming down from Utah to visit. We are going to spend a couple of days at the Magic Kingdom. I am so excited to be with the kids and Jamie. Oh and of course my son-in-law Jon. The kids are what make Disneyland fun for sure!

Aubrey's Birthday Card

Aubrey's favorite color is pink, so I had to make her a pink birthday card. On the darker pink I made score lines using my fiskras cutter and my stylus. I cut the round scallop with my spellbinder die cut. I used Autumn Leaves clear stamps for the hearts. I used colored pencils and blending them using gamsol.

Family CD Tin

I made this Family CD Tin for a class I taught. I will be putting more information up for this project in the Tutorial section on my blog.

I Love You Card

On this card I used Making Memories Grommets. The stamp image is from Autumn Leaves clear stamp set. I used colored pencils for the stamp image. I love you is a rub-on. The circles are distressed using the edge of my scissors. Inked edges. I did some paper piercing around the title. Layers are made by using pop dots.

Colored Pencil Card

This is my first attempt at using colored pencils. I love using them so far. I also love using the Gamsol for blending the colors. I used just some inexpensive colored pencils and Gamsol is paint thinner that I found at Michaels. I bought the Mona Lisa brand. It works really well. For the scallops I used spellbinders die cuts. The embossed background is the cuttlebug folder.

Mini Purse Album Wall Hanging

This is one way you can hang your mini purse albums. I made this from a wood plaque and I attached a coat hook onto the wood. I used Mod Podg to adhere the paper. The Cherish is a rub-on. Two of the purse straps are ribbon and one is beaded. I used Basic Grey paper for the albums along with cardstock.

Busy with the Babies

This is what I have been doing this weekend. Playing with my two grandbabies. They are both 4 months old. My daughter April and her kids, Mia and Ezekiel came down from Utah to visit. Mia is on the left and Dottie, who is my son's daughter, who lives only a few miles from me. Lots of Fun Ü
