Friday Highlight
What is Friday Highlight? There are so many creative people that share there tips, tutorials, ideas and all kinds of fun things to see and learn. I thought it would be fun to share all the neat things that I find. I will post every Friday things that I think are interesting. It could be organization tips, tool tips, creations, YouTube. If it has to do with crafting I will be posting. So I hope you will check on Fridays to see if there is anything that might peak your interest. I just loved the tag idea that I posted below. That is what got me thinking about doing this. I posted this tag idea on another board and people really liked the idea. I will always give the credit to the creator of the idea and a link from where I got the idea.
Today will be the first episode of Friday Highlight.

Cuttlebug Tags
Here is a great Idea I found on a blog. Tracy Pounds embossed all her embossing folders onto tags. What a fantastic idea. Now you can have this on your desk and it's right in view for inspiration, no need to get all those folders out. When I make these tags I am going to put the name of the folder on the back of the tag. Cool idea, thanks Tracy! Monday, January 12, 2009
Jamie and the Girls visit
Jamie came down for a visit with Kylie and Kaylin. We had so much fun with those sweet little girls! Jamie wanted to make a visit before she gave birth to Tyler. She knows it will be awhile before she will be able to travel.I just love it when my kids come down for a visit. The goodbyes are the hardest!

Our House in Utah
Are we ready for this? I don't know. When I think about shoveling this driveway I think more and more about the California weather we enjoy. This snow is so deep you can't even tell how steep the driveway is. We'll have to hire the grandkids to come over and shovel the driveway for us when we move there! As of now, Marshall our son, gets to do the shoveling!Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Hip Hip Hooray Card

I finally got my craft room set up. After Christmas, New Years and moving, it took me awhile to get started on this task. Tuesday, December 30, 2008
Baby Update
Jamie went to the doctors yesterday. The doctor said the baby is measuring 29 weeks. She really doesn't have that much longer before this little guy is born. He seems to be doing well, growing big. Jamie has started some early contractions. This is not new for her, as she had early contractions with 3 of the 4 pregnancies. The doctor told her if she starts early labor with this baby she will have to stay on bed rest in the hospital. They don't want to take any chance of her not being able to deliver the baby at the right hospital. The bad news is life expectancy for this type of heart condition, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. That is unknown at this time. The patients that had the surgeries are only in their twenties. This does not sit well with me. But we can have lots of hope and faith that they will develop something to help them live a long life.
The doctor told Jamie that the left side of the baby’s heart is basically scare tissue. It has shrunk much smaller then the right side of the heart. They will have to do surgery when he is born to keep him alive. They will expect to keep him in the hospital for 5 weeks after he is born. We hope that you will keep our grandson in your prayers.
