Well, another milestone for Tyler. He just celebrated his 2nd birthday. What a blessing it is to celebrate each and
everyday with Tyler. He is coming up on his 3rd open heart surgery, the Fontan. This is going to be the most difficult surgery for Tyler considering his age. He will be much aware of things, which I think will be most difficult for Jon and Jamie as well. Now he needs to stay healthy and strong. Jamie has to keep him away from crowds (church) so he has a lesser chance of catching a cold or flu etc...
It is so hard to think about what Tyler is going to go through. It is going to break my inner soul to see him go through this tough challenge in his life, but on the other hand, I am so grateful that they (doctors) have the ability to save our grandson through the miracle of medicine. I pray with great faith that heavenly father will guide the surgeons hands.

When is his next surgery?
It will be this summer, they will find out in May. He is going to have a few test to see how he is doing then they will know when the surgery will be.
Oh my goodness. That made me smile! He is adorable.
