I tried something different with my cuttlebug on this card. On the top part of the card I layered the purple and the green strip together and then I stamped the Birthday wishes and then I ran that through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder. It actually looks pretty neat and it looks like it's part of the paper. I layered the embossed part onto a plain purple cardstock and then layered that onto a distressed edge green cardstock and then I layered that on top of another embossed cardstock which then I attached to the card. On the butterfly I used Tim Holtz Alcohol inks and blended them together. I then used the Cuttlebug die cut butterfly and then embossed that as well. I added three purple brads to the bottom of the card. The stamp is from Inkadinkado.

Lisa, Thanks for sharing this idea! My question is about the butterfly die...you said it is a Cuttlebug die...is that correct? or is it a sizzix die?

Yep, It's a Cuttlebug die. It comes with four embossing folders and the butterfly die. It's a great set!
I love it. For Sarais b-day I presume. :)
